Pseudoscience

The word "pseudoscience" comes from the Greek meaning "science" and "false". The vocabulary defines "pseudoscience" as the activity that imitates science but that is not science by its essence. The main difference between science and pseudoscience is the base of pseudoscience on the false data or the denial of refutation possibility while the real science is based on facts and develops rapidly.

The most characteristic feature of pseudoscience is the absence of the scientific approach. It is usually biased and is based on the false data knowing it very well.

Recently many authorities of the countries started to support different scientific centres in many countries of the world including pseudoscience introducing the investigations of the pseudo-science into the list of programs to achieve the material and political benefits.

Such programs usually show the politically good image of the certain politician. With the help of pseudoscience politicians have the possibility to influence people a lot.

The most famous researches in this field are those that are connected with the global warming, the harm of the passive smoking, the nuclear winter, the black holes, etc. All these researches are supported by the powerful governmental sources and by the complete absence of scientific data.

In such case people are talking about the full corruption of the pseudoscience that makes the results of these sciences doubtful.
