Parapsychology

Parapsychology is the science that gathers and systematizes the information about the paradoxical biological and physical phenomena and wants to fix the facts of their existence finding out the mechanisms of the super abilities of people and animals realization, phenomena of life after death using the scientific methods.
Parapsychology was always considered to be the pseudoscience as its methods used everything in theory having no practical background.
There were laboratory experiments and investigations held by many Universities all over the world. The results of such experiments are usually spread among special people who are investigating the problems connected with this field. Such mystery always provoked the discussions on either it is pseudoscience or really science.
The results of the investigations of parapsychology are sometimes published in the scientific journals but still the majority of scientists don't consider it to be the real science.
The term "parapsychology" was introduced by the German scientist that was the famous doctor in philosophy and the investigator of physics. But at that time this term was also used meaning the pathologies in psychology. The word with the modern meaning was first used in 1908 and was widely spread only from 1937 when the first magazine of parapsychology was first released in the USA.
